Just a thought about his grapples, perhaps they leave him in a weakened state depending on his strength and how powerful the foe is?

i'm thinking they either take a crap ton of stamina, require very good timing (a small window to grab like slip dash invulnerability), or stronger bosses require a higher level of the skill and more strength so that you won't be grabbing like gnoll chieftain and polar bear first time through.
