Changing BGM/Korean Voice-overs
Changing BGM/Korean Voice-overs

Default Introduction

Yes, there was a post like this in the Vindictus forums, but there was a flaw in the guide: IT ONLY WORKS WITH MP3. If you went from her (Playthings) guide, you wouldn't be able to change most music in the game. Yes, this isn't a very complicated process, but ever since I started doing this myself I've had countless people asking for a guide as to how I did it. So I took about an hour of my time to put together a short "do it yourself" guide for BGM.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED.
iTunes, or any kind of program that allows you to change audio formats (MP3 -> .WAV, etc)
Wavosaur, or some kind of audio program that is specifically designed for editing .wav files. Audacity is another, if Wavosaur doesn't work for you.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Any modification to game files is against Nexon's Terms of Service. I have been using these changes myself for months now and have had nothing come up, but that isn't to say that they won't do anything. For the most part, I wouldn't be worried; these changes are harmless and are always undone by autopatcher updates.

FOR THOSE THAT ARE LAZY:

I've provided a file that will replace all current boss themes to what I am using currently. Just to save you the effort of having to edit your own.

Yes. All the game text remains english, the only thing this changes is the voice effects from your characters attacking.

Just wondering, might you add the files for the english voice overs also? While I like the Korean Evie voice, I really prefer the English Fiona and Lann over the Korean versions..

I have a problem with the voice changing part, got lost where you said remove 33211B8E7F131384F50DAA36062F4027E13D70E8 file from hfs which I have, then move the voice folder into the sound? if so I tried that didn't work.
